Craftsmanship and entrepreneurship in Fashion. The event grows and renews itself, becoming a widespread laboratory of creativity and style.
The new edition of Lucca Fashion Weekend arrives from 29 to 31 May in the city’s most evocative places.
An ever-growing event made of fashion, art, culture and craftsmanship.
A calendar full of initiatives, prominent guests and important collaborations that showcases the excellences of the area and craftsmanship, the elegance and tradition of the everyday arts in Lucca.
Identity-defining places for appointments with elegance
At the Teatro del Giglio, an exhibition of authentic sketches from the archive of the Fondazione Armani, granted by the CSAC of Parma.
At Palazzo Bernardini, the exhibition dedicated to Renata Frediani, a display that tells of taste and elegance through tableware.
At Villa Bottini, Qlhype, the hub of luxury circular fashion, active for the entire duration of the event and promoted by Cecilia Rodriguez and Ignazio Moser.
At Palazzo Tucci, a major initiative, coordinated by Confcommercio, dedicated to shopping, with special buying opportunities and offers of clothing and accessories from the area’s businesses.
At the Loggiato of Palazzo Pretorio, in Piazza San Michele, an urban installation dedicated to a new fragrance curated by Armani Beauty, where an exclusive masterclass at Vanità Profumerie with the brand’s official make-up artists and the LFW talks are set: a rich and eclectic programme featuring conversational gatherings with the city’s entrepreneurs and the festival’s talents.
At Palazzo Pfanner, the awarding of the Lucca Fashion Week(end) Prize and the participation of leading guests, including Cecilia Rodriguez, Ignazio Moser, Calzolaio Max and Tommaso Zorzi. Zorzi himself chose Lucca to launch his porcelain brand Pina 1930, in homage to his grandmother, with a series of events and presentations during the days of the festival.
In Piazzetta dell’Arancio, a market and workshops on the trades of fashion, curated by Sabrina Mattei for CNA and promoted by the Region of Tuscany.
At the Casa del Boia, on Saturday 30 May, with the brand Antonina Poppy as the star and a DJ set with Jo Squillo, open to the public.
In Piazza Cittadella, on Friday 29 May, “Verso Turandot”, a tribute by the Fondazione Puccini for the centenary of Turandot and the fiftieth anniversary of Atelier Ricci, a historic Lucca tailoring house.
